Chapter 7. Comparison and selection of business internationalization

This part of the book is dedicated to describing and structuring the differences that exist in business environments depending on the country. Although the reader will go to many countries of the world and see people wearing the same brand clothes, talking on the famous brand phones, driving the famous brand cars, but in fact, this is a misleading similarity and image. Different countries have different political, legal and economic systems, huge cultural differences remain, which lead to completely different behavior, both within the business organization and among consumers. Freedoms and rights differ, attitudes to equality and property differ, religions differ, tastes, attitudes and habits differ. There are more than two hundred countries in the world, but according to certain criteria, they are grouped into so-called cultural clusters, which are connected by a common past and similarity.

This part of the book is divided into four chapters. The first of these includes an analysis of the diversity of political, legal and economic business environments; in this chapter the reader will find similarities and differences according to various criteria of these environments. The second chapter of this part is dedicated to describing cultural clusters and cultural dimensions, in which the reader can familiarize him with the diversity of cultural differences and the implications for doing business in these different clusters. The third chapter is dedicated to cross-cultural differences in leadership, work and communication, it is very important to understand the differences of motivation, reward, negotiations depending on the country. The fourth chapter of this part of the book allows the reader to look behind the scenes of international organizations, their structure, relations between related companies in different countries, the concept of corporate networks, the importance of innovations and start-ups in international business.
