Inspiration

The inspiration to write this book came from realising how diverse the world is, how different high school educations are, how accessible and affordable university education is. Structured information describing and illustrating the theories of international business and economy, the history of globalisation, the diversity of global business types, the differences in business environments in various continents, countries, cultures, differences in business logistic operations are presented in this book.
The author wants this information to be accessible and affordable to as many students as possible in the world. The book is prepared in English and Spanish, and translations into other world languages are planned in the future. This book is written looking at international business as a phenomenon, showing diversity, without judging or showing the author’s own cultural perspective and emotional attachment.

In his scientific career, Dr. Andrius Jarzemskis carried out scientific projects mainly in European countries. United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Turkey are countries whose cultures and business habits the author knew and experienced personally while visiting or working in them.

Experience and knowledge about other continents resulted from long-term interest in other cultures, reading books and scientific publications. The author hopes that the accumulated knowledge will help as many students as possible to look at the business world from as many perspectives as possible.
